Anytime I get to share what I love, or inspire others to enjoy life is a treat. All of these activities have allowed me to explore the best parts of myself and the world. From teaching French in the USA and English in France, to being a full-time artist or an art sales consultant, I have consistently been immersed in what I love. My exposure to, and love of French and Art from a very early age, has influenced my pursuits in life. I feel incredibly lucky to have grown up with such wonderful and supportive people. My family was my first teacher, instilling a lifelong love of learning and entrepreneurship. We always had freshly cooked dinners at the table and big birthday and holiday celebrations.
I grew up with a big loving family in a beautiful house on lots of land. I am an Arizona native originally from Apache Junction and have lived in Flagstaff for the last 22 years. Watching "my" humming birds on my property Painting- especially on old glass door and windows that get pulled out as "junk" and reinvent them into something "new" and unique Being a voice for the artists and the art was also incredibly satisfying and rewarding.ĭogs- all of them! I have a 3 year old Basset Hound and a 6 year old Saint Bernard who make all days wonderful
I especially loved the challenge of connecting the right artwork to the customer and their home. I love how it changes and grows as we change and grow.ġ7 years as an Art Director for a bustling contemporary art gallery allowed me to use my love and passion for art daily to help people create unique and special spaces in their homes. Home should be a comfortable, creative expression of who we are, who we've been, and who we want to be. It was a necessity for me to feel comfortable and unique and have a safe haven. I surrounded myself with color and patterns at an early age (think "Punky Brewster!") and HAD to have a decorated pulled together space of my "own making". A creative kid, drawing, painting and any sort of "creating" was a constant for me.
